About the group

The Group meets every six weeks. Members include Councillors, residents’ groups, local businesses, local individuals and various other individual members who have an interest in the area where we live and work.

The group is an important local voice, bringing together key decision makers to help shape a bright future for the area.

The group is, for example, consulted on major planning applications, and many other local issues such as improvements to local public services. More importantly though the group generates ideas and drives progress on the issues that matter most to us all.
