This year, like the last two years, Father Christmas is coming to Yiewsley. He will be arriving on his special Santa barge on Saturday 11 December. He will travel down the canal from Uxbridge and will dock at Colham Bridge (the bridge on the high street at Yiewsley) at 4pm, before walking along the high street to his grotto outside Dades' superstore, opposite Morrison's, where he will meet our local children. Last year Santa (pictured below) handed out chocolate oranges to children - he was a big hit before disappearing back off to Lapland. Have a look at the video which captures the story last year.
